The École biblique of Jerusalem offers several kinds of scholarships, which are funded by various organizations:
- Académie des Inscriptions et Belles-Lettres (AIBL)
Two research grants from the Académie des Inscriptions et Belles-lettres are offered for a one-year stay at the École Biblique.
These grants are reserved for students (master II, doctoral or post-doctoral students) devoting their research to oriental archaeology or to the study of biblical texts and oriental philology. The amount of the stipend covers the cost of boarding at the École Biblique for two academic semesters, with free access to the library, as well as the cost of course registration.
Fifteen hard copies of applications must be submitted by the deadline of Friday, May 5, 2023, to the Secretariat of the Académie des Inscriptions et Belles-Lettres – 23 Quai de Conti – 75006 Paris (tel. 01 44 41 43 10) or sent by email to secretariat2@aibl.fr.
