March 1, 2023 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

ST. JOHN PAUL II INSTITUTE OF CULTURE
On Wednesday, March 1, 2023, we invite you to the sixth JP2 Lecture, which will be given by dr Dariusz Karłowicz, Program Director of St. John Paul II Institute of Culture. The lecture entitled “Reset or Revolution? Contemporary Problems of Political Stability and Some Ancient Solutions” will begin at 3:00 p.m. (CET) in Aula 11 at the Angelicum (Largo Angelicum, 1, 00184 Rome).
Can political and legal stability be a political problem? Is it possible that what seems to be the goal and the best fruit of good policy can lead to degeneration of the political system, injustice and crisis? How does stability relate to conflicts and deep divisions within Western societies? Has history known political crises similar to the one tearing Western societies apart today? Have effective solutions ever been found to deal with the toxic side effects of stability? If so, what did they consist of? Can we apply them to our problems? This is a list of questions I will try to answer in my lecture – Dariusz Karłowicz
