DESCRIPTION:
This course deals with the phenomenon of the organization and the various theories that have an influence on its management and development. The theory of organizations is an object of study for disciplines as varied as economics, sociology, psychology, history, management sciences, etc. In this course, we will study the major currents that have influenced the evolution and practices of the management of organizations. In addition to a historical approach to the theory of organizations, we will analyze the major themes such as the difficulties faced by the organization today. The motivation of human resources, the work environment, and the organization, the methods of decision-making in the organization, etc. A global understanding of the organization is an asset that will give access to a broad knowledge of the reality of organizational management. The student will be able to prepare to deal with the diversity of situations in the management of the organization.

GENERAL OBJECTIVES:
To know the major currents of thought in the theory of organizations and management that have influenced the evolution and practice of organizational management;
Understand the scientific approach to organizations
To be able to critically discuss the theories of organizations and management presented by the different schools of thought;
To be able to identify the theories underlying the different modes of management observed in organizations.
